There are many who make the assertion that we won’t remember our previous lives on earth. Several thoughts arise on why many people derive this. One might be, if I won’t be married to my spouse in heaven (a clear teaching of Jesus), then I must not recall our relationship on earth. Another reason is that they come to the notion that this world and the experiences in it are often too traumatic and difficult to live with even in one’s memory. Therefore, the assumption is made that in order to live at peace with one another in heaven, God must somehow wipe our minds free from their worldly encounters. But is this necessary? Is it biblical?
